Getting a chance to hike/photo walk in the mountains of Colorado has been one of just the many things on my wish list ever since I’ve become a photographer. I recently got the opportunity to make that trip with four other awesome photographers from Wichita: Tim Davis, Kevin Brown, Brett Schauf and Ken Davis. Brett & Ken were really the nomads of the trip as they have made this trip a ton o’ times and knew the area very well. I was strictly in tourist mode as I had never been to the part of Colorado that we stayed and hiked around.
I must say, the colors of the leaves were amazing and the view from 12,000 was breathtaking. I was in awe of the beauty around me.
A huge thank you again to Brett & Ken for being the coordinators of this trip. I look forward to any other trips in the future!
